NFI has been organizing monthly study circle lectures as one of the mechanisms of dissemination of information and promotion of awareness on nutrition related knowledge. The presentations in these meetings cover a wide variety of areas, ranging from presentations of research findings, reviews of scientific knowledge, papers and discussions of policy and programmes pertaining to health and nutrition at national state or local levels. The study circle lectures provide a common forum for lively academic interaction between nutritionists, practicing dieticians, clinicians, health care and nutrition programme managers and policy planners on the subjects of the presentation made by the lecturer.
